Modalities
Dear Tree Healing serves the wholeness of being, where the Mind, Body, and Soul are incorporated into the scope of practice. When one of these factors is out of alignment or distorted, the others will be influenced and effected in their functioning. In order to experience the authentic self, the Mind, Body and Soul are brought together in a reformed relationship, which can be expressed as regaining the whole sense of self.
Nervous System Regulation
Nervous System Regulation practices address the patterned reactions in the body when faced with daily stressors. These factors reach back into the beginning of an individuals life where the nervous system may not have learned how to regulate itself due to dysregulated parenting and/or an unsafe environment.
These practices offer a range of resources to use for expanding the capacity to handle daily stressors, to change negative patterned reactions to positive embodied responses, and to allow an avenue for stored stress to be released without causing further trauma.
Integrated Meridian Therapy
Integrated Meridian Therapy is meant to open the structure of the body to being felt again and to address any stagnant or frenetic energy within the body. Work is done in the body structure of bone, tissue and fascia simultaneously with the Japanese and Chinese meridian systems. This can alleviate pain, disease, hormonal imbalances, can balance the chemistry in the body, and can restructure the body from past injuries. This also works to open blocked energy in the body and release the body from clamping down and armoring itself, which may lead to an array of dis-eases. The body is the vehicle which will continuously try to communicate to the wholeness of being when there is something that needs to be addressed. Psycho-somatic occurrences arise when the individual refuses to acknowledge, or may not be able to sense what is happening physically or emotionally. The body will then present this discord through the crisis of pain so it can no longer be suppressed and ignored. Once the individual is ready to address and honor the fullness of being, the body will respond and lead way to further healing.

Reflexology and Sacral-Cranial
Reflexology systems include a dozen parts of the body, such as the hands, feet, tongue, scalp, face, ears (auriculotherapy), long bones, spine, nose, and eyes. Reflexology can be used as assessment areas to show what may be occurring in the body, and they can also be utilized for treatment. Different reflexology areas are used to address specific chronic or acute ailments or for maintenance of issues such as motor reflexes, tremors, neurological disorders, brain injuries, ambulation, spinal issues, organ dysfunction, sensory issues and hormonal imbalances.
Sacral-Cranial is a gentle, slow process that includes moving lymph through the body, releasing the joints, working with diaphragms, and utilizes reflexology. This work addresses any built up fluids and inflammation, sensory or neurological disorders, and hormonal imbalances.

Color Light Therapy
Cells need light to live and they feed off color light, especially from the reflexology assessment points such as the face, hands, and feet. Different light produces different frequencies that benefits different cells. Light therapy assists in draining lymph and detoxing the body, chronic issues, managing pain, seasonal depression, allergies, hormonal imbalances, and can be used as a post surgical treatment, or for preventative and maintenance treatment.

These are a series of individualized gentle movements to alleviate pain, address places of holding in the body, and to allow an overall sense of ease while engaging the rest/digest branch of the nervous system.
